ByteClub currently uses cookies needed for core service functions and, with your choice, to remember your theme.
Necessary cookies
The application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and support request security, including CSRF protection. These cookies support functions you request when using the service and cannot be disabled in ByteClub’s settings.
Theme preference
If you choose “Accept all,” ByteClub stores a first-party theme cookie for up to one year so the selected light or dark theme can be applied before the page is displayed. Choosing “Necessary only” prevents this preference cookie from being stored. The consent choice itself is kept in local browser storage.
Other storage
Some interface functions use browser session storage rather than cookies. ByteClub currently does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party providers may process information when you choose OAuth sign-in; that happens as part of the sign-in flow.
Change your choice
Use the Cookie settings control at the bottom of the page to change your preference at any time. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Clearing them may reset your theme or sign you out.
